New for 2025/26

New Medical Studies Access Programme

Dundee and Angus College have a new Access to Medical Studies SWAP course starting in August 2025.

This is in addition to the Access to Medical Studies course run by Edinburgh College.

UHI-Perth and UHI-North, West and Hebrides offer a range of online SWAP programmes for SWAP eligible students living anywhere in Scotland.

UHI-Perth:

Access to Humanities
Access to Health and Life Sciences
Access to Physical Science

UHI-North, West and Hebrides:

Access to Nursing
Access to Allied Health Professions and Midwifery

General information

All programmes are full-time, running from August/September to May/June.
Level is SCQF 6 (except Access to Medical Studies, which is SCQF 7.
SWAP 'profile grades' are based on continuous assessment, not final exam results.
